Lionfish couldn't sleep. The oddly colored SeaWing refused to move, though, to avoid awakening her friends. She had to admit though, it was strange to call a few of them friends, Hypothermia specifically. She'd just have to warm up to her, was all.

She swore one of Hibiscus and Atlantic's kids woke up, because she heard one of the four younger dragonets sneeze in a cute manner. And a laugh, with a cold breeze coming soon after. She opened one of her emerald eyes slightly, seeing the former IceWing guard awake. She shut her eyes again when she began to get up and quietly walk out of the cave. Why was she up?

Lionfish waited, expecting others to awaken. It was just her, the RainWing family, and the two IceWing siblings, really. They got separated by the rest of the team. No matter.
She quietly stood up and marched out into the cold of the IceWing kingdom border.

There she was, Hypothermia, her pure white scales glittering along with the snow.
"Hypo?" Lionfish asked. Hypothermia turned her head quickly, probably expecting an enemy, but her expression change to a neutral one when she spotted the SeaWing.
"Lionfish?"
"What're you doing out here?" Lionfish asked, approaching the huge IceWing, nervous. She shouldn't have been nervous! She had to act mature. She wasn't going to be the pathetic dragonet everyone said she was!
"Can't sleep." the IceWing turned her head back, shaking it. "The war just ended, Lionfish, you understand."
"Of course. That's the reason I can't sleep either."
"It effected us all, kid. Some for the worse. Weren't you in an accident during it? You know, before the team ever happened?" she turned her head back to her. Lionfish pointed a talon at a missing chunk in her ear. "Yes. It was nothing major."

There was a pause. They just stared at the horizon for a few minutes. Hypothermia spoke up.
"Lionfish, were you made fun of for odd scale colors as well? I was always pestered about it. Dragons always telling me "An IceWing with pure white scales, what a disgrace!". Of course, I could defend myself."
"Yeah, I was. SeaWings with white and gray scales with orange lights, quite a rare thing. Only in Animus. Bit I'm not Animus. And I thought pure white scales were natural in IceWings?"
"Pure white scales aren't natural in IceWings, Lionfish. But they're more common than you think."
"Ah."
"Hey, let's head back. It's nearly dawn."
